Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the DishBish mobile app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use DishBish. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Your account
You sign in using your Apple or Google account. You are responsible for keeping the device and credentials you use to sign in secure, and for the activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the recipes, photos, and comments you submit ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant DishBish a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for example, for resizing or translation), display, and distribute Your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
- Spam, scrape, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or moderation.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service except to the extent expressly permitted by law.
- Use the Service to develop a competing product or to train machine-learning models without our written permission.
5. Moderation and removal
We may, but are not obligated to, review, remove, or refuse to display any content that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms.
6. Reporting and blocking
You can report content or users you believe violate these Terms from within the app. You can also block other users to prevent them from interacting with you. We aim to review reports promptly.
7. AI features
Some features (recipe import, customization, voice control, translation) use AI models hosted by AWS. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always use your own judgment, especially around ingredients, allergens, and food safety.
8. In-app purchases
Some features may require purchasing credits through Apple's App Store. Purchases are governed by Apple's terms in addition to these Terms. Credits are non-refundable except where required by law.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Recipes are user-generated and we do not warrant their accuracy, safety, or suitability for any particular diet or health condition.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DishBish will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from or relating to your use of the Service.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where local law requires otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
